Session 1
Today was my first hypnosis session and it was very relaxing and comforting. The woman who performed the session is a life coach to a friend of mine who just looks great and is doing something right with her life so I thought I would give it a try and see how it works for me. The session went very well and although I was completely conscience, I was in an extremely relaxed state of mind.

I’m writing this down now so I don’t forget. But at one point she told me to walk down some stairs. A marble staircase. When I get to the bottom I would be in a complete state of relaxation. She would lead me down step by step. As she was talking me through this, I had an image that this was a marble staircase to a church in Rome. An ancient one, I’m not even sure I know what a catacomb is, but that’s where the stair lead to, the heart of the church. And at the bottom of the stairs was God waiting for me. Each step took me a little closer. When I got to the bottom of the stairs I just stood there trying to get my eyes adjusted. As I stood, there God had moved to the corner of the room and just kept saying ‘I told you I would be here. I told you, you weren’t alone and that I would be here. Do you believe me now?’
I told you I would be here. Over and over that one phrase. I told you.
